Our Christmas 2015

c2
Christmas was over but the memories of wonderful moments and great food still hang around. Like most holidays, Christmas came to an end way too fast. Once Thanksgiving arrives, it seems like there are not that many weeks in between. This year I hope to do better when it comes to buying gifts in advance and not wait until the week of. Perhaps I can start shopping and get it all done in November instead so that I will not be wrapping presents on Christmas Eve ever again. What a wishful thinking!

c3 Presents under the tree looked extra beautiful on Christmas Eve. They awaited to be opened. c5 c4 c16 c8

I made this fruit tart to bring over to the in-laws' house along with Kale/Quinoa dish (not pictured here). Will share the tart recipe soon. So easy to make.

  1. I try and be better about shopping my presents early every year, but so far I have failed consistently.

  2. Christmas at your house certainly looked festive and fun Nelah! I love the tray with the pine cones and ornaments on your table. I generally do my Christmas shopping during the year so that I'm done before Thanksgiving. I really hate dealing with holiday crowds and it's great incentive :)

  4. These photos are beyond beautiful and I just love your Christmas tree! Yes, I agree this year Christmas time flied away so quickly! Btw, I did exactly this - I split the Christmas gift shopping between Nov and Dec, so that I don't wrap presents on Christmas Eve.

  6. What a beautiful Christmas! I especially love those plates; they're gorgeous. I'm not fond of wrapping in general, so I try to wrap half, then put the rest in either gift bags and Santa bags. My kids love the Santa bags, so it's a win-win :)
