Forever Tonight~*

This is the last part of the wedding reception. It was the most romantic wedding I've ever attended in my entire life indeed.

That night was definitely the night I will never forget. The sight, the scene, the setting, the cool breeze, the soft and lovely tunes of love music from guitarits, the lush green grass, the lovely little pond, the pretty chandeliers, the comfy sofa by the fireplace and last but not least the sparkling stars.

It was almost unreal. I wish there was a way I could capture everything with my camera but moments like this nothing can capture the beauty of the night except the eyes and our lasting memories.

The last four photos are my masterpieces after years of taking photos as a newbie, I am so proud of myself to be able to capture these photos without an assistance from a tripod (damn me I forgot to bring it along!!). I literally bent down on my knees using my camera bag  to help keep my hands steady for a (super duper) long shutter speed, it felt like forever.

Heck don't ask me now what setting I used.

Wednesday - I am in love

Hello world, blog, computer, and keyboard – I am glad to be able to dig my body out of bed and feel alive once again. Thanks to seasonal allergies and notorious sinus infection, the bad combo knocked me out in the past few days. My head was all stuffed up, I couldn’t think straight. All I wanted to do was sleeping my way through…..zzzzzzzzz. One can never have too much sleep I must say!

In addition to blogging, I am determined to be productive as the house was literally a mess. The first thing I did after my ill feeling days was spending my precious time cleaning, scrubbing and santizing two bathrooms as of 8PM on Wednesday night like this!! A fabulous life of a mom like me, what can I say.

I was browsing through my photo files just to realize I had yet to finish posting pictures from my sister-in-law's wedding in Kauai back in September. This is (almost) the last installment from the wedding - the wedding reception it is. After a religious ceremony at Na’Aina Kai Botanical Gardens, it was bus hopping time. We hopped on the bus several times from place to place during this wedding extravaganza. The bus took the guests to a cocktail reception (which I didn't take any photos), then we hopped on the bus once again to the actual reception site. I dragged my husband and my little one on the bus as I wanted to be in the first group to get there to take photos before the place was fully occupied with people. The reception site didn't fail me, my jaws dropped. What I saw ahead of me was just GORGEOUS.

Our Day on the Strand

These photos were taken back in October when we made a quick trip to the beach. It was a nice, breezy and beautiful late afternoon.

Boo!! Beauty & the Mommy

This is the first year I took my little pumpkin out for trick or treat, the girl had a blast. We started out around 6:30pm so that she could still go to bed at a decent time (but things do not always go as  planned, shouldn't I know that by now?!?). There were many homes in the neighborhood which "somewhat" participated in the candies giving trandition. I found it interesting that they decided to leave pots of candies out on their porch and let the kiddos grab as much as they would like despite personally handing candies to the kids. Great idea especially when you are tired of hearing that doorbell for the 50th time, right?

My daugther's in-home daycare did a Halloween party for the kids so she basically celebrated Halloween all day long. How fun! She wore her Cinderella's dress to daycare, then Belle's dress for trick or treat in the evening.

We found Belle's Dress/a crown and matching shoes (the shoes were not comfortable for walking so I let her wear a different pair for trick or treat) at a Disney's store a few weeks ago and just had to have it. It is sooooooooooooo pretty that I wish it came in my size!!
